I have had similar thoughts. People start "master threads" that highlight their car, but they are hard to find.
In the meantime, you could :
1 : ... do a "cheat" and create a trip log where each trip is a link to a new "mod".
Here's what I mean, but without links. I mostly use it to show oil changes :

2 : ... start a "my car thread" and then edit the
first post when you add mods. That way, people will be able to see a list of "your mods" all the start of the thread.
