Ya gotta start somewhere. Keep after it. I finally got a couple tanks at 20+ in the MadMax mobile these past two weeks...after years of trial and error. Although, if I'd slow down a bit I'm sure I'd see better numbers all the time. My truck is getting (relatively) close to the numbers you mention above, but it's a 287 ci naturally aspirated.
And yeah, I need to update my fuel log. Been pretty busy as of late.
