I wonder how long until Oregon is infected with whatever has rotted the brains of CA lawmakers?
An ex of mine had a Chevy S10 that made a loud rattling noise, and I determined it was a loose honeycomb element in the cat. No problem, I took a pipe and smashed it out and reinstalled. No more rattle, and Emily liked the exhaust sound better afterwards. She swore it made her truck faster, but I'm skeptical.
You can get away with that in Oregon since it doesn't require smog inspections, yet.
I suspect we won't need to implement smog inspections as EVs become more commonplace.
