I used to put the kayak up on my Festiva to go to the lake. The kayak was a longer than the car.
Before I got a riding mower, I made two small ramps from 2X6's and would shove my push mower, weed eater and blower into the back of the Festiva to go mow yards. That car could actually hold a LOT.
