Its a 17 year old Escort, appearance probably isn't one of your top priorities.

My wife doesn't mind me hypermiling, its my occasional aggressive driving that gets her attention (driving in Korea teaches you to fit cars where they shouldn't fit). Now if I comment on how her driving could be more efficient, that'll get her going. I don't do that any more.


Tell them you'll drive normal when they're in the car if they'll pay for gas.
