Do the Volt mirrors fold back? You could fold the passenger mirror back and fasten (Sugru or equiv.) a bullet mirror on the back end. I'm a fan of keeping visibility. I stored my Volvo's back seat headrests since I rarely drive with passengers, and I ALWAYS need to see out the rear...
My plan for the rear wheel skirts is to use super magnets to hold them on, with a second super magnet glued inside the plastic parts of the fender if I need an attachment point there.
