UltArc- I watched the video. He got the wheel locked, then took the key out of his pocket, put it in and unlocked the wheel.
Taking the key out and putting it back in my pocket isn't part of my EOC procedure- but yes, I can see how it being in my pocket would make for horrible reaction times while driving.
