UV-reflecting paint, keeps your cars, homes and...playground slides cooler.

John Hopkins Applied Physics Lab created an inorganic paint made with silica, potassium silicate and special compounds to reflect sunlight, passively radiate heat and UV-resistant. Beneficial properties; to protect the painted materials longer and keeps things cooler. It is designed to expand and contract but it would be similar to painting on 'glass'.

Glass paint could keep metal roofs and other structures cool even on sunny days (video) - American Chemical Society
