I gotta say, Ron Burgundy is the coolest Insight I've ever seen in person! I was pretty lucky to nab it since I had to drive 2-1/2 hours each way to see it.
I bought the pod mirrors off a guy on IC who hand-made them, so for now they're one of a kind but . . . . .
If I ever get around to sending Daox the dimensions, he's going to make me a set of lightweight housings that fit the stock Insight mirror bases on his 3D printer (the ones I have are bondo). I'm sure after the prototypes are done he'll sell them like he did the 3-button shift knob, so they'll be available here shortly.
The actual mirrors that are enclosed in the housings are cheapos, I think a set of them is like 6 bucks on Amazon, so to replace the stock Insight mirrors should be a really cheap affair.
