Don't want to discourage you but aero mods at 12 mph over a 3k one way commute will be zero, except in a strong headwind. I have never seen published anywhere that aero mods on a bike even matter below 13 mph.

Aero mods will make your bike heavier which is only beneficial downhill.

If you want to make your commute faster or easier check into a 350 watt electric motor.

I pour over bicycle wind tunnel data because I race, so I do know of what I speak. I just don't want you to waste your time and money.
