OK - so keep the new hex file loaded, then start the process again:
- Start at Kp-id 2000, Ki-id 0 and run-pi-test
- If it overshoots to -60 or lower, cut it in half and repeat
- If it does not overshoot to -60 or lower, double it and repeat
- when it stops dropping to -60, keep Kp-id constant and start playing with Ki-id
- log everything
