I got through the testing and Kp=941 was the best value. But after that was done, it kinda stopped working?
I started with Ki-id at 128, then went through 64,32,16,8,4,2,and finally 1
The waveform looked like the one we started with, Kp=1 and Ki=0 and no output.
So I re-ran Kp-id 941 and Ki-id 0. Still no output.
Pack is at 125.5V and I checked it on the terminals for B- and B+ on the controller. The 12V battery is down to 12.7V, 12.5V at the terminals of the DC/DC converter.
I rebooted everything from scratch - laptop and controller, restarted hyperterminal, libreoffice calc, etc. Checked all of the voltages again. No output for Kp-id 941 Ki-id 0. Cycled power on the controller and just did run-pi-test. Again no output and the graph looks the same.
I have the 12V battery on a charger and will try again a bit later ... any other ideas on what may have gone weird? Anyone?
I'll attached the files for determining Kp in a separate post when we get this figured out
