Last sunday my wife sang with her choir at the annual Museum Wharf party in Nieuwegein (where they also practice weekly).
Being a wharf, they also had some antique ships and nautical items on display, there were paint boots etc. for the young visitors while the fully grown kids around were entertained by the Amateur Steam Club with all their toys.
Of which this one caught my eye:
The Black Pearl.
Designed and built to operate on steam, they had to convert it to pressurized air to get it road legal.
So not a steamer, sadly. You'd still own the road.
I would have loved to see it on the move but it was just on display.
There was enough action anyway, like an ancient horse drawn steam powered fire engine pump that caught fire, ironically, and had to be escorted away from the crowd.
