The 1st gen Insight didn't have a back seat and the Prius needs to have a relatively comfortable back seat for taxi use. I think the 3rd gen Prius looks fine and struck a good compromise of aerodynamics and usable interior space.
I don't know what the interior of the Tesla is like, but it's even more slippery and looks fantastic. Prius could adopt some of the styling of the Tesla without ruining the aerodynamics.
