This is a happy thread where we share photos of gas stations that are closing as vehicles get more efficient and reliable. I noticed three in my small town recently. I'm curious if anybody else is noticing the same thing or if it's just local.
This Conoco was the first to go about two years ago. Not surprising because it was in a bad location on the edge of town.
This little service center is closing next month because, "We don't get as many customers as we used to." I'm not sure if the gas pumps will be shut off, too.
Finally, I'm sure this sad little Shell station will be on its way out soon. It hardly ever gets any customers.
I hope I'm not the only one who's experiencing this!
