edit: probably nothing, priuschat had a similar discussion including the non a/s tires over 2 yrs ago

Yea, where'd you find this? Looking at michelins mobile site (desktop is still listing a/s) I've only found limited info, but it looks like they might have dropped the energy saver a/s, and replaced it with an energy saver -summer tire. They say it stops 10' shorter in the wet than the previous generation

Also noticed "....Original equipment on vehicles like MINI Cooper, BMW 3 Series, and Volkswagen Passat." I'm wondering if these have been available in Europe, but with recent emissions issues, if suddenly every Passat crossing the ocean will be fitted with these shoes

new? energy savers http://www.michelinman.com/US/en/tir...rgy-saver.html wondering if they're really a us tire, listed on the us site though

energy saver a/s http://www.michelinman.com/US/en/tir...-saver-as.html

discount tire / american tire is listing an energy saver and an energy saver a/s, but the energy saver doesn't seem to be available in any of its areas
