All back together.




Most of the marks on the rims came off with brake cleaner. A few small scratches left but you have to look for them. The stripping went on easy around the perimeter.




Edge is covered. Looks much better.




Initially, I felt no vibration at 70mph. But after a little bit of city driving I found the front left one still shifts around. I can't tighten the zip ties any more. I might try going around and snipping out the first ridge or two of the stripping. That would give it an edge to hold it in place. I just want to avoid doing a center peg if I can. But for now, I'm happy with the results.

One thing that occurred to me is that with the covers about level with the edge of the tires now, I have to be very careful not to scrape the curb when parking.
