I find many of the shapes shown to be very satisfying to look at.
Maybe I need to be psychoanalyzed and have my head checked out. My older sister would claim it's all sexual or some nonsense. At least that was her claim when I was a child drawing airplanes all the time.
The EX-181 photo at the start of the article and the sectional drawing are just wonderful.
I'm not exactly sure why reverse airfoil shapes like the ones Luigi Colani has experimented with were not explored in the 1930's-1960's (paper is 1957).
I'd like to print out this article and paste together the bisected drawing. Does anybody know the command sequence for this?

Why do we simply roll #3 into #1?
Isn't the ground pressure plane more deserving as to being it's own category?
