Okay after some research I've figured out that the HF's and the VX's both use the same Catalytic Converter and are available aftermarket at the tune of ~$250 (Part # EASTERN CATALYTIC 40352). Which is news to me,I was told no one had the HF converter available,let alone the VX/HF both share the same one..

Now to the good stuff,and I'm just pondering here..
It looks to me like a 96-00 Civic HX exhaust manifold/catalytic converter might work it sits in the same angle,and has the same bolt pattern to the down-pipe..
Which would mean much more parts availability and cheaper (can get complete manifold/converter for $160 shipped online,HF manifold is unavailable) parts for when the HF/VX one's eventually dry up..

Thoughts? Anyone tried this yet?
