I don't find that the grocery store fuel discounts (Fred Meyer and Safeway around here, maybe others) are worthwhile. The stores which offer the discount charge more for the groceries and such that you have to buy to earn the discount thereby completely negating the fuel savings. Do you really think you're outsmarting their accounting department? I fill my tank and a majority of my pantry at Costco.
