i am finaly posting 7month after the engine rebuild. I was hoping for record mpg this summer but it took me 6 months to realize that I had a exhaust leak because i was thinking it was normal that my car was louder because of my new cat and resonator and increased compression. but now my mpgs are better then last year for that temperature.

and I did a lot f things to my car in 7 month

but first, more pic of the rebuild

new 1nz-fxe pistons

new 4-2-1 headers

i wraped my new exhaust line and headers

it look like I have a lift kit when the engine and tranny are not in the car

i have changed my upper grill block and passenger mirror cover to black abs plastic and my whiper cover to black chloroplast

i have relocated all my batterys in the trunk

i replaced my front suspension

i replaced my rear bearings, cylinders, drums, shoes, and plates.

i made a new middle belly pan with side skirts but without rear wheel spats but now i can lift the car without removing the bellypan
the bellypan is made out of 0.040'' aluminium panel

i installed a coolant electric valve to stop the coolant flow to the heater core when i dont need it. but the valve is normaly open and the only time it is open is when i plug the car and when i cool the engine with the heater fan

i installed a 850w tank type coolant heater because my 400w frost plug heater was not enought

i bought the spare tire of my friend's crashed honda insight
and i tried it to see if it fits and it does
