I took this setup on its first little highway trip. Only about 20 miles each way.
The thermostatic valve did not choke the engine at higher RPM as I feared it might.
The warmer air has richened the cruise mixture from between 15 and 16 to 1 and brought it down to between 13 and 15 to 1.
