I got those bus wind shield deicers in.
They are huge.
Going to have to go way off book to install them in a passenger vehicle.
Factory specs put them at 20 amps for 68 inch grid, and 16 amps for 83 inch grid.
The gird is 8 lines, its about 6 inches wide, way too wide and tall for a passenger vehicle.
The instructions say you have to use between 68 and 83 inches of deicer grid for their controller to work properly.
I only need 4 grids at a max of about 60 inches, so I just wont be using their controller.

Since I am using half the grids at less than the prescribed length I think they should only draw a max of 6 to 8 amps. I will figure out what they should draw with the flir.
