I drove the Wife home from work today, so had a chance to monitor intake air temperatures. They hovered around +10C (+9C while driving, upping to +13C when going very slow), with an outdoor temp of -4C. Last time I drove Theodor IAT was also around +10C, but outdoor temp was between +5C and +10C.

I was expecting them to be higher, as this was normal for when I disconnect the stock intake's external nozzle. So either:
  1. the new t-stat's hot side needs a collection funnel, or
  2. the slinky tubing fell out, disconnecting the t-stat from the air filter
Upon returning home, it turned out to be 2.
