I like box modelers, but Solidworks seems to have a lot going for it. I watched the first four minutes, but when there wasn't a 'flatten to reference plane' available, I stopped. There are other tutorials like E8 SolidWorks Loft Boat and Lofts and Airplanes in Solidworks
