2001 Insight, manual transmission (western MA)

Selling my beloved Insight. It's started to bump into warning territory with the IMA battery (I've reset the warning light, which is currently off), and I've decided not to invest in keeping it going by buying it a new Bumblebee battery (or looking into reconditioning or disconnecting). It's a sweet little car, the best gas mileage out there (as y'all know), and one of the last chances to get a manual transmission. Since I live in the northeast, I've also got a nice set of mounted Blizzaks that go with it. For the right buyer, I'll even leave the fancy new BT stereo (+ mic for phone) installed. I'm a careful driver with obsessively kept maintenance records; the first owner passed me all his records (in 2007) as well.

Known issues:
- IMA battery light is not on right now, but it was. That means it gets an unknown limited number of months/weeks/miles before something needs to be done.
- It has also been setting a P0420 (cat efficiency) code on and off over the past couple of years. That's off now and has been been for a while, but there is certainly something to know in there -- possibly O2 sensor/s, at some point it might actually mean it needs a new cat (though i got a vehement "no" on that from an Insight specialist mechanic last time it came up).
- Tire skirt: I've been riding without the right tire skirt lately, because although I have it and all its fittings (and even an extra of those little bolts that cost @$12), there's some issue with one of the brackets that hold the bolts in, and it's being uncooperative.

142,800 mi
58.7 mpg = currently reading as its lifetime mileage with me
clean title, no accidents
silver
all-season tires
Blizzak snow tires on rims

Make me an offer!
