With a auto we have the torque multiplying and OD and with a lock up converter small power and MPG loses.
A super charger is VERY costly to buy and install, and add in your cam changes more cost. Add in injector timing and other tuning to match your new cams...
A second over drive could be bought 2nd hand and is a lot cheaper.
And I feel the 4.6 can pull very well at around 1200 to 1300 RPMs and have enough power to work at 75 MPH at that RPM.
Add in you can now gear split and you now have a 8 Speed tranny.
