I cannot imagine very restrictive regulations on rear windows because of convertibles.
I've been pondering about doing something about the 45 lb rear glass on my old Porsche 911 Targa, a lightweight plastic alternative perhaps. The folds look fairly simple at first glance.
These 356 rear tracks look narrowed.
