The cross-hatched areas are where the Prius V floorpan protrudes up into the floorpan of the Firebird. It was my guide to where to cut the Firebird's floorpan during the past summer. I also needed to move the traction battery forward to clear the rear seat backrest support, which is a structural element of the Firebird's body.
I also did the same thing up at the firewall where the Prius V A/C unit protrudes in behind the Firebird Dash.
