Ever since I started the project, I have had people walk up to me and offer me cash for the Firebird to keep me from doing it. Also, there are plenty of rude remarks. However, there are even more "Wow" and "Cool" remarks, and the project has become a bit of a celebrity among the neighbors. One neighbor nearly drove off the street onto a lawn watching me drive the Prius V chassis sitting on a folding chair.
Neighbors also stopped by to watch me place the body onto the chassis.
I'm having way too much fun now to stop or alter course!
