Here is the car's front end currently:

Here are some of the race Camaros:

I plan on adding fog lights and while I'm at it I'm going to flush the front end using lexan/plexiglass as a cover, along with a lower grille block. The headlight covers are going to take a little longer as I want all of this to be removable without drilling into the bumper itself. I'm finishing a masters degree (mechanical engineering) and after that I will start to develop some active aero components. Starting with the upper grille between the headlights that can be either closed or opened based on speed or manual override if temps start to climb in the summer. The lower grille block also turned to an active component along with the bottom chin diffuser having an extension that will lower at speed when potholes are not a concern ALA 3000GT. I also plan on doing a full belly pan and am fortunate that the 2014 Z28s front belly pan is bolt on and only 90$ more expensive than chloroplast, but time saving.

I will be getting a scan gauge hopefully in the next few weeks after tax returns. Happy hypermiling everyone!

My goal for 2016 is to achieve 40mpg in my Camaro.

Mike
