I own a Mini too but not driving at the moment.
I have quite some projects about it aero wise.
It has a 998 engine and should get a 2.95 diff at some point but only when I am happy with the aero improvements.
Have you fitted a vacuum gauge ?
Information is kind of the very first step to go for.
Planned mods for me are : part deseaming, underbody panelling, mechanical fan removal, and front license plate area streamlining.
