The factory LED headlights are finally installed. The project wouldn't have been a big deal at all had I received headlights in the same condition as advertised, however I ended up spending a solid 8 hours repairing headlights, and about 1.5 hours doing the actual install. The wiring isn't a big deal, just cut the plug off of both the LED and the Halogen and connect the halogen's plug up to the appropriate wires, the only thing that is not straight color to color are the following 1) cap off 2 of the wires heading in to the LED voltage driver, you only need the RED (which is LED ON +) and black (GROUND -) the other 2 are for warning lights on the dash that I didn't wire up. 2) The Green (I think with yellow stripe) wire from the halogen harness is the LOW beam on +. So GREEN wire on halogen pigtail to RED on LED driver and everything else is just straight same color to same color.
Impressions: I JUST finished, I haven't had the chance to drive at night yet, BUT driving during the day you CONSTANTLY see the distinct look shining on vehicles that you are following. It makes the car look noticeably higher end and I dare say much more techie.
