In city driving, your single largest area for improvement is timing. Timing traffic, timing traffic lights, even timing stop signs. Try to drive >>SAFELY<< without using your brakes.

How do you time a stop sign? If the stop sign ahead has three cars backed up, let off the gas and coast with the goal of getting to the stop sign as the last car is leaving.

If you are making a turn, try to coast down to the proper speed so that you do not use your brakes.

06 Canyon: The vacuum gauge plus wheel covers helped increase summer 2015 mileage to 38.5 MPG, while summer 2016 mileage was 38.6 MPG without the wheel covers. Drove 33,021 miles 2016-2018 at 35.00 MPG.
