My friend used to laugh at my uncle who put a block of wood under his gas pedal to get better gas mileage. This was nearly 20 years ago on a Caprice. He also had a snowplow adapted for the car, something I have done myself with a different car. Better on gas than a truck. I limit my throttle too, but with my foot.
