cRiPpLe_rOoStEr -- I wasn't thinking of practical issues so much as build quality. Cedar lap siding requires sub-siding. You can see the uneven shadow line in pictures where the sun is low. No mention of insulation, what is the siding glued to? Cedar is light but that much adds up. The job could be done with .014" aluminum.
