I just bought the car of my ecomodding dreams! A 1989 Pontiac firefly with Metro doors, fenders, hatch, and hood. The previous owner claims he did monthly oil changes and swapped out the struts for better ones from the doner Metro. The shocks are good but it needs some TLC. The brakes are warped and worn. It's rusty, the CV joint needs replacing but for now it drives good and I love it! I have so many things I want to do to it but I'll have to do them as time allows. I'm commuting to collage 118km from home so it will get lots of miles.
My hope is to bump some of the civics off the top 10 list. So far I'm on track. The first tank I got 20% over EPA and I haven't even changed the oil yet
