A Swiss-company Micro Mobility Systems AG has pulled at the heart strings and time traveled for inspirations in its Microlino EV. The Geneva Motor Show unveiled a BMW and Isetta bubble car-inspired prototype. The side-by-side packaging of the driver and passenger offers comfort and still only use 1/3 of a normal parking space. The Microlino will have a range of about 100 km (62 miles), a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) supplied by a 15 kW (20 hp) electric motor. Basic recharging from a regular wall socket with an inboard cord drum. Micro Mobility Systems will offer the Microlino in 2018, a price tag between €8,000-€10,000 (US$8,950-$11,200).
