Definitely more dangerous than driving drunk. I often text n drive on my way home from work to keep myself awake, that or browse Imgur. However, I only do it when I'm the only one around (I get off at 2am). As soon as I see headlights behind me, or tail light ahead, away the phone goes. I'll be honest, one of the reasons for upgrading my car situation was for press to read texts, and more voice control to make calls without having to touch my phone.
