Why would you want it to feel less enclosed? I mean, that's the whole point of pretty much every car since horseless carriages with tiller steering. If you want open, you buy a convertible or motorcycle.

Maybe their designers need to spend some time outside the foggy Bay Area? In the Central Valley, cutting out 81% of solar heat is just the difference between steamed rice and deep frying.

Oh, and did anyone wonder what happens to all that glass in a collision, or a rollover? If it's the same tempered glass used for hatch lids, a minor bump causes it to instantaneously disintegrate into pea-sized bits.
