I bought it to use as under-body paneling, not as an air dam. I was suggesting cowmeat might give it a shot for an under-body panel material that's durable and light weight.
For my grill block, I used clear .080 acrylic and heat gunned it to the (2D) contour of the front bumper, trimmed the piece to size on the band saw, and backed it with a small aluminum bracket I made on the mill. Engine reaches temp a heck of a lot quicker like that.
