The new 'faceless' Tesla Model 3 looked for a design solution for their grill-less nose. Tesla designers saw a unique and elegant design of the Renault Caravelle or Floride, a RWD rear-engined sports car. Ghia Design and Pietro Frua took credit for the concept but many also saw their real clean-front inspiration, the Amphicar!
Elon Musk has been moved by critiques, they are tweaking the front and will have a new nose design.
