A manual would be nice but, if you or someone that regularly borrows your truck would still feel more comfortable with an automatic, a lower stall torque converter with lockup is a good choice. I'm just not sure if the Diesel torque converter had a lock-up, as the TH700 relied on vacuum as the power source for it...
