Not sure if it's a success story or not, but I can't see how it would be anything else. Had a leaky tire on the Echo, and as a truck driver I am gone for a month at a time, and have come back to discover the battery was dead. Well, I took it to a used tire guy to just have a new one put on. Instead he took it off and plugged a leak I hadn't been able to find, and charged $5 for it! I gave him $10 because he had no reason to not rip me off, yet he did the right thing anyway. That solved, I went and bought a solar battery charger. No more jumping the battery and idling while I load the car, and yay to maintaining tire pressure! That should be worth 1-2mpg over what I have gotten the last few tanks. Not bad for $35 total.
