An electric-only car forces me to have another car. I live too close to the mountains where there are avalanches and rockslides and the detours can be a couple hundred miles all by themselves. My EV-wannabee vehicle has to be something along the lines of a Chevy Volt, BMW i3, A3 e-tron, or some other electric-based vehicle with a range extender engine.
