So it turns out that the VVT control that I was looking at using is a little more crude than I would like. Are any of you guys using VVT engines in cars that don't support VVT? If so, what sort of controller do you have for the VVT? Obviously like something that vary it continuously based on engine speed, but I'd also like to make it so that, when I use cruise control, the timing goes to maximum overlap to maximize EGR.
Thoughts?
