It was the original design that I was working from.
Yes, I agree that two mounting points would be a more stable setup. This would require a custom built dual receiver with the appropriate ears extended out fer the frame pivot points. In order to accomodate the dual shocks, a cross beam would need to welded in and an another extention welded in place so it ends up looking like right angled "Y" shape. Still might go in this direction in a future rebuild.
One of the single wheel trailer manufacturers has a dual receiver setup fer their models. A few others have a dual setup fer their dual wheel models that pivot on the hitch.
