Hi Rooster, all good points. We don't really have E85 here (not a station within 25 miles of me anyway) so that's why I brought up denatured alkyhol. I was trying to specifically call out the denatured variety vs the folks who want to use rubbing alkyhol because the rubbing version, even 91%, has far too much water content and depending on climate, your specific engine, etc it can cause issues and potential damage, so for me erring on the side of caution it's probably better to be safe than sorry.

Depending on local laws and such you could always find a station that sells 100 octane unleaded or Torco fuel additive, mix that and then run a super aggressive tune to cut the fuel quantity back and rely on the higher octane to prevent detonation, plus 100 octane just smells amazing coming out the tailpipe at $7/gal lol
