For those who want to go mad fast this is the 1906 Curtiss V-8 motorcycle. The engine is a 269 cid air cooled 40 hp @1800 rpm unit that weighs 150 lbs. It was designed for use in dirigibles. Curtiss set a speed record of 136 mph on the sand at Daytona Beach using it. Glenn Curtiss built bicycles and motorcycles before his success in aircraft.
