So this car might be for sale but I have no idea what the guy wants. I think too much but you never know. He got a project Javelin and mentioned he was going to put his Astra for sale. It has a VW drivetrain, a 2180 with dual weber 44's I think. I have never seen it running. This car barely comes up to my belt, probably a nightmare to get in and out of but I wonder how good of an ecomodder it might make. Electric conversion would be the obvious choice, I don't think I would want to spend more then 60-100 miles at a time in it LOL! How efficient can VW motors be? I know nothing about old VWs. What would the drivetrain be worth in this thing if it did still run good and be a supposed 135hp performance build? Here it is back in it's showcar glory days
